Outdoor Cases – Overview of sizes, variants and accessories

The outdoor cases from bwh Koffer are available in numerous sizes and variants – from Type 500 to Type 7900. Depending on the model, they are available empty, with cube foam (SI) or with variable compartment division (RPD). All types are available in black as standard, and many are also available in yellow, orange, bronze green, or desert tan. Our outdoor cases cover a wide range of sizes: from compact protective cases for measuring instruments to large case solutions for sensitive technology. A total of 18 outdoor case types are currently available – from compact models for measuring instruments to large-volume transport cases for technical or defense applications.
All outdoor cases are tested according to STANAG 4280, DEF STAN 81-41, ATA 300, MIL-STD 810G, and IP67 – for maximum resistance and durability.

A wide range of accessories is available to suit the various types, including variable compartment dividers, foam inserts, lid pockets, carrying straps, and backpack systems. The accessories are compatible depending on the model and can be combined individually.

Foam Insert (SI)

Whatever you want to transport, a foam insert provides optimum protection for the interior of your outdoor case. By removing individual pre-cut cubes, you can customize the foam to fit your equipment perfectly. This ensures that everything stays securely in place.

• Egg-crate foam in the lid

Customization option: Alternatively, we can manufacture a custom foam insert tailored precisely to your requirements.

Divider System (RPD)

The variable compartment division keeps your outdoor case tidy. The walls can be arranged flexibly and changed at any time. Everything stays securely in place thanks to the included dimpled foam.

• Variable separation using Velcro and hook-and-loop fasteners
• egg-crate foam in the lid

Shoulder strap (CS)

The practical shoulder strap makes transport easier and even longer distances comfortable. It is easy to attach and remove.

Backpack system (BPS)

With the optional backpack system, you can carry your Outdoor Case comfortably on your back. It attaches to the side and allows you to open the case even with the system attached.

Lid pocket (LP)

The lid pocket offers space for documents, writing pads, or operating instructions. It is padded and reliably protects the contents.

Mesh bag (MB)

The mesh lid bag allows you to make optimal use of the suitcase lid – ideal for small items and accessories.
Depending on the case size, the bag is equipped with zippered compartments or three separate compartments.

Quick release hinges

With the optional hinges, you can completely remove the lid of your outdoor case. The conversion is simple and stable.

Panel frame (PF)
